On November 8, the 4th day of the 6th China International Import Expo, the 4th International Carbon Neutrality and Green Investment Conference with the theme of “Building the ‘Belt and Road’, Creating the Zero-Carbon Vision” kicked off at the National Convention and Exhibition Center. At the conference, the “Zero Carbon China” Standard Pilot was released, and the Xi’an Central Innovation Zone Integrated Energy Utilization Demonstration Park was named the “Zero Carbon Park” Standard Pilot Park.
As important carrier of industrialization and urbanization, the balance between Co2-emission and Co2-absorption in parks is inherent requirement and important method to implement the task of scheduled “Carbon-peaking&Carbon-neutrality”. In 2020, Shaangu Group led Xi’an City Core Development and Construction Co., Ltd. to jointly establish Xi’an Central Innovation Zone Integrated Energy Co., Ltd., which undertakes the financing, construction and operation of the integrated energy utilization demonstration park project located in Xi’an Central Innovation Zone, establishing a safe, intelligent, green and efficient local integrated energy supply system, and providing integrated energy services such as heating and cooling for users in the zone. Efforts will be made to create a future-oriented safe, green, low-carbon, and intelligent integrated energy system, and build the Xi’an Central Innovation Zone into a “Demonstration Zone for Carbon-peaking&Carbon-neutrality”. After the completion of the project, it is expected that the utilization rate of clean energy will reach 100%, the utilization rate of renewable energy will reach 26.6%, the integrated utilization rate of primary energy will reach 102%, and carbon dioxide emissions will be reduced by 168,000 tons/year.
