Recently, multiple compressor units for air separation plants supplied by ShaanGu for the large-scale fertilizer project of United Capital Fertiliser (UCF) in Zambia have entered the comprehensive installation phase. This milestone marks a critical step forward in the development of East Africa’s first modern chemical project. Not only does this project represent another significant achievement in ShaanGu’s global expansion of high-end equipment, but it is also set to inject robust momentum into Zambia’s agricultural and industrial development.
Located in Lusaka, the capital of Zambia, this project is the first modern chemical facility in East Africa. Upon completion, it is expected to significantly boost local economic and social development, alleviate fertilizer shortages in Zambia, and serve as a new engine for the country’s industrial and agricultural growth.
To ensure the high-quality progress of the project, Liu Qiang, the project manager of ShaanGu, led a technical team stationed long-term at the site. They worked closely with the customer to carry out the optimized installation and commissioning of the compressor units. From design to installation and supervision service, the ShaanGu team’s dedication to excellence has earned high recognition from the client, demonstrating the strength and commitment of Chinese equipment manufacture.
