Recently, the offshore natural gas liquefaction project undertaken by Shaangu for a leading European energy giant has officially commenced operation. This milestone marks a major breakthrough for Shaangu in the field of intelligent services for high-end equipment in the oil and gas industry, demonstrating how its self-developed, digitalized, and customized system solutions are injecting innovative momentum into the critical equipment operation and maintenance (O&M) of the global energy industry.
The project aims to convert abundant natural gas resources from the Arctic region into liquefied natural gas (LNG) using cutting-edge technologies and equipment, enabling delivery to global markets. Shaangu served as the critical equipment supplier and technical service provider for this initiative. Since the project’s launch, Shaangu’s engineering team has overcome multiple industry-wide technical bottlenecks, successfully developed systems meeting the stringent standards of international oil & gas industry. During the crucial commissioning phase, Shaangu team braved extreme temperatures below -50°C, efficiently executing equipment commissioning and technical services to ensure stable operational deployment.
The equipment delivered this time adopts Shaangu’s independent innovative design, significantly enhancing operational stability. The system is equipped with multiple types of intelligent sensors and relies on a remote monitoring platform to achieve unattended intelligent operation, which not only reduces manual operation & maintenance costs but also greatly improves equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
