On July 30th, the new energy storage innovation consortium of central enterprises has been established in Beijing. Under the guidance of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the consortium is a state-grade new energy storage innovation platform jointly led by the State Grid Corporation of China and China Southern Power Grid Co., Ltd., and its members include central enterprises, state-owned enterprises, colleges and universities, research institutes, industry organizations, outstanding entities, etc.. Shaangu Power is involved.
Shaangu has been conducting in-depth research on compressed air energy storage(CAES) technologies, and now fully possesses solutions for compressed air energy storage system(CAES) units with different processes and scales ranging from 10MW to 400MW. The Shaangu solution of “axial+centrifugal” compound unit fully matches and responds to the market demand for large-scale, high-system efficiency and high economy. It can continuously assist users in achieving cost reduction, carbon reduction, and profit growth.
Compressor is the most essential equipment for compressed air energy storage projects. Currently, axial compressor unit independently developed by Shaangu has become a single champion product in China’s manufacturing industry, with a cumulative output of more than 2600 sets, ranking first in the world; The innovatively developed AV140 axial compressor unit has reached a new height in technology and specifications in the global industry of compressor. Shaangu also combines the world-class compressed air energy storage(CAES) technology with the energy interconnection symbiosis system(EISS) technology that won the China Grand Award for Industry, and innovatively creates the low-carbon, energy-saving, intelligent EISS4.0 solution to serve users in process industry, smart cities, the the Belt and Road and other fields.
